Flavors travel from the stomach to the heart. Amir Iqbal, also called World Curry Master, is a legendary chef and cook in Karachi, Pakistan. In an interview, Iqbal said that he is the only person from his family who has opted for cooking at a professional level. First, he gave exams for the Pakistani Army but failed to clear. In Air’s family, almost everyone was involved either in teaching or giving exams for Army. In 1999, Amir did a six months certificate course and passed the same with flying colors. Then he did further training of six months. Amir jobbed for numerous years, including in Abu Dhabi. After 2007, Iqbal started working in restaurants.

Later, at the end of 2010, Iqbal was allowed to do a live show, and due to his solemn efforts, the show became successful. Iqbal’s dedication towards his work was not hidden from anyone so he was offered shows after shows. A few of his performances include ‘Cook Like A Chef.’ ‘Seashore Spices,’ ‘Classic Cuisine,’ etc. In 2011, Amir reached the semi-finals of an NDTV show, ‘ Foodistan Foodistan was a cooking show aired on NDTV good ti >> Read More... ,’ the first cooking competition held between India and Pakistan. In 2014, he judged the First Master Chef Pakistan and was also a jury member of the Pakistani Food Awards. Amir once again made the county proud in 2015, he spoke at the festival in Malaysia as an International Chef.

He also symbolized Pakistan at the World Curry Festival in Lister Park, Bradford. He never allowed the negativity to affect and this is something that makes him stand apart from the crowd. Amir considers Marco Pierre White, a British chef, as his inspiration. Amir’s distinct interest lies in European cuisine, Continental cuisine, Mexican fusion, and Desi cuisine. Amir aims is to promote desi cuisine. His other interests include sports like volleyball, basketball, swimming, etc. Amir Iqbal is indeed one of the most successful chefs in the world.
