Syed Sadaf Hussain is an Indian author, podcaster, social worker, consultant chef , and TEDx speaker who was a finalist in MasterChef 2016. He is from Jharkhand, India. He has worked as a chef in several hotels, including Soho Bistro Cafe, Cafe Lota, and The Buffeteria. He began his food blogging career with "Food and Streets by Sadaf," a blog dedicated to improving people's eating experiences by providing them with stories and information about the origins of the food. He has published a book titled Dastan-e-Dastarkhan that has dishes that are incredibly healthy and use fewer ingredients. He has tried to innovate the existing recipes to give them more nutritional value rather than create innovative meals.
