Nikhil Sachan

Nikhil Sachan is one of the most famous Indian author and columnist. He is also a screenwriter and lyricist. He was born on 4 August 1986 in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. He spent his childhood in Kanpur. He did his schooling at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay School. He completed his graduation from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He worked for two years in Gurgaon after his graduation. He also studied Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Kerala.

After his post-graduation, he again worked in Gurgaon. He later started working with an Investment management firm in Mumbai in 2016. He was also a former Senior Consultant at IBM Global Services, a former Consultant at KPMG, a former Deputy Vice President at Angel Broking, and a Former Vice President at Kotak Securities. His first book, published in 2013, a short story collection called Namak Swadanusar, was listed in the ‘Top 10 Books of The Year’ in BBC Hindi.

His second book, published in 2015, and another short story collection, Zindagi Aais Paais, was also listed in ‘5 Books To Read in 2015’ and ‘List of Best Books of 2015’ by Aaj Tak. He has been featured in Outlook and The Quint with this book, receiving significant recognition. His third book, a full-length novel, UP 65, published in 2017, is converted into a web series. His fourth book, Papaman, is being converted into a film. He has also contributed to various E-Magazines like The Lallantop and Firstpost. Nikhil is also into writing scripts for Hindi Films.
