Ashish Trilok Rampal, a renowned writer, producer, and assistant director from Mumbai, Maharashtra, completed his education at St. Xavier High School and St. Andrew High School before obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Smt. Mithibai Motiram Kundnani College of Commerce and Economics. He further honed his skills by earning a diploma in Visual Communication from the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) followed by another diploma in visual and performing arts & film and television acting from Kreating Charakters and one from the Institute of Moving Images.
In 2010 Ashish established Ashish Rampal Films, which specializes in creating commercials, documentaries, music videos, and short movies. One of his short films titled "Proud to be an India" received the Most Popular Short Film Award at the Florence Indian Film Festival in 2011. Some of his famous movies are Kismat (2009), Traas (2011), and Thalaivi (2021).
