He then became the Consulting Faculty for Film Editing at Zee Institute of Media Arts (ZIMA) and a Director at the ICE Logistics Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. From 2007 up to the present, he has worked at the Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. in the field of animation and film directing.

Bhanushali earned popularity after co-directing the 2011 animated film, Super K - The Movie. It was released on Yahoo! Movieflex as an exclusively online animated film. The following year, Super K was released in the USA as Kiara the Brave. Although the film earned negative reviews, it bagged the Best Feature Film Award for Animation at the Dada Saheb Film Festival in Delhi. Some of his achievements as a director also include Bal Ganesh 3, Bal Ganesh and the Pomozom Planet, Ghatothkach 2, and Veer Abhimanyu. He has also worked in the television serial, Tina & the Magical Alphabets, Fruit, Salad, and many more.
