Vaibhav Kumaresh is an Animated filmmaker and founder-director of Vaibhav Studios. He is a fine arts graduate in animated film making at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He is an active member of The Animation Society of India (TASI) and teaches animation at various animation and design schools. Vaibhav studios were founded in 2003 and have created many appreciable animated contents for TV commercials and channel promotions like the Amaron Battery ad campaign, the Vodafone Zumiez, and many more. They use all mediums of animation like 2D, stop motion, and computer-generated 3D animations.
Vaibhav Kumaresh is the one who created the famous character Simpoo Singh, the famous 30-seconds cartoon series on the V channel. The real face is one of his teachers who taught him in school. He started his journey during school days, doodled the sketches of his teachers and others in his notebooks. Storytelling is one of the most important skills required in animation. According to him, creativity and discipline are the two things one should consider while working in this field; one who doesn’t have this won’t be able to go far in this journey.Â
