Shweta Jha

Shweta Jha was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, on 21 October. She is a well-known Indian news anchor and journalist. Shweta’s father’s name is Binoy Jha, and her mother’s name is Mala Jha. She has two sisters, Shalini Jha and Supriya Jha. She completed her schooling at DAV Public School, Jamshedpur, and graduated with English honors from Jamshedpur Women’s College. Her father was a professor at Jamshedpur Women’s College. Shweta has wanted to become a renowned TV anchor since her teenage days. So, she moved from Jamshedpur to Delhi to fulfill her dream. In 2004, she started working as an assistant producer in Sahara Samay to make her career in electronic media.

In 2007, she worked as a senior producer and anchor in India TV. Later, Shweta joined India Today in 2013. She has an experience of more than 16 years in journalism and electronic media.
