' where every actor took a dig at the craziness of reality shows being telecast on various channels. It was a 12-episodic drama that pointed out that reality shows are not real at all, His smiling face and curly hair impressed the viewers and above all his acting ability as a comedian got noticed. Every episode had a different title such as ‘Tania Meri Dosti hai’ etc. and the series continued for 12 episodes that were the story for four crazy friends –Krish, Zameer, Tania, and Kuldeep.
Gurpreet played the role of Krish in the episode. In this show,
also had a cameo to perform. Like all young dreamers, this actor left Chandigarh and landed up in Mumbai to become an actor. He got many offers in TV but did not accept those roles as it was not challenging for him. He came to Mumbai in 2009 and got a role in a movie ‘Rock The Shaadi’ which got shelved. Recently, he penned lyrics for an Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘
’. He penned the song 'Atrangi Yaari” along with Deepak Ramola, which was sung by Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. The music was composed by Rochak Kohli. The actor even hosted a show 'Change Ayega, Hum Layenge' on Bindass TV channel in 2014. The show dealt with youth’s problem like unemployment and women's safety issues.
He even acted in a Hindi movie with actress Bipasha Basu and Madhavan titled ”Jodi Breakers" (2012), Recently, the actor-cum-host was seen hosting a show ‘Sabka Sapna Money Money', for SAB TV but Gurpreet Saini was soon replaced by another host Aniruddh Dave recently within a month. His song lyrics in ‘Wazir’ kept him in the limelight now.
