Mehar-Ul-Nissa

Mehrunnissa Hasan popularly known as Mehr Hassan is a well-known Asian American model, actress, classical dancer and singer. Mehr was born in 1983 in Lahore district of Pakistan. She was born to a mother who is a Pakistani-American theologian, Riffat Hassan and an Indian father. Mehr received her Master’s degree from the University of Louisville. She resides in Louisville, Kentucky. Mehr has been an active performer for both Pakistan and India. In the United States, she started her dancing career as a stage performer. During her college years, she visited India during summer break, where she began her career in the film industry for the first time in Tamil Nadu called Anbe Diana in which Mehr played the title character.
