Indira Bansal is an Indian actress who worked mainly in Hindi movies. She was born on 3 December 1932 in Rawalpindi in Punjab, Pakistan. She was the wife of Sulekh Chand Bansal. She was the sister of a popular comedian named Solan. Indira Bansal had six children. She was a famous supporting actress. She was active from the 50s till the early 80s. She began her film career in 1952. Shrimati Ji was her first movie. She played the character of Moti in that film. In 1954, she worked in three movies. They are Shivkanya, Tilotama, and Mayurpankh. She was known for her acting and bubbly personality. She has worked in many films.
