Kiranmala is mainly famous for her lead role in Ishanou, the film by Aribam Shyam Sharma, in which she gave an eye-catching performance. Kiranmala won the International film festival award, France. Theatre activist Oja Birhari was the ticket to the acting journey because of his suggestion that begins to act in drama. She worked in 200 theatres and also managed her studies. Her play Kanana Haijilibano has completed 100 episodes. Kiranmala was born in March 1970. She has four siblings, the younger of all. Kiranmalas father Anoubam kanhai was a Nata Sankritana Artist, because of him kiranmala loves music and singing. Kiranmala has had a passion for art since she was six years old, she also joined Government Music College, but she has to stop this inconvenience in transportation.
When she was in 12th standard, she joined dance school but had to leave that because of her studies as it is pretty tricky to manage research and passion both at a time, so she focused on her studies and cleared her matriculation from high school in 1984-85. She earned her graduation from Ng. Mani College. Kiranmala works under the guidance of various theatre gurus. She has completed her theatre training course from Oja. Kiranmala also joined the workshop on the famous lyrical ballad Khongjom Parva. Under the guidance of Oja Goshe and Hemanta, she dances in many dramas too. Kiranmala married in July 1993. Her husband’s name is bonobos. He is the secretary of COHSEM. They both are blessed with two daughters and one son. After retirement, she is working as Headmistress in charge in Manipur.
