Ghani Muhammed is a Gujarati music composer. Originally hailing from the Tejrasar Village of Bikaner, he is the son of the musician Sirajuddin. His mother died early in his life. He has a brother, Ali Muhammed, who, like him, is also a music composer. Ghani Muhammed used to train under his father. They relocated to Kolkata at a young age and then later to Mumbai, where they were seen by many Bollywood musicians and directors. They have also received training under Ustad Munawar

Ghani Muhammed made the basis of his singing Mand Raga, which is considered as one of the most popular ragas in western Rajasthan. They have also been associated with All India Radio (AIR) since 1981. They have also directed music in many films including Rajasthani, Hindi and Punjabi films. Ghani Muhammed received the Padma Shri in the year 2024.
