Ninu Mazumder is a music composer who is known for his works in movies like 'Gopinath (1948),' 'Jail Yatra (1947),' 'School Master (1943),' and 'Ram Dhoban (1953).' He was prominent in Gujarati light music. He then graduated to compose his own music and writing songs. Ninu aspired to become a music director when he was doing schooling in Baroda. His Garbaas and Bhajans were also famous. Ninu started started working at All India Radio in Mumbai from 1954 for 20 years as a light music producer. He gave new trend in music industry by providing classical touch to the film music. He also composed music for multiple Gujarati films like 'Jeevano Jugari,' 'Okha Haran,' and 'Sharad Poonam.' Ninu has three daughters, two of them works in film and music industry.
