Rajesh Iyer is a Bengali producer and business head based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has studied at the Symbiosis International University. He has been serving as the business head of Regional Entertainment (Bangla, Tamil, Odia, and Gujarati Clusters) at the Viacom18 Media Private Limited. He took over the leadership of Viacom18 in October 2020 and is responsible for leading the team for different television channels, such as Colors Bangla, Colors Tamil, Colors Odia, and Colors Gujarati.

Throughout his career, Rajesh has worked for various media companies and held different positions across different channels, such as Star India, Zee TV, Yupp TV, and O&M. He has also served as the vice president and head of marketing at Viacom18 for almost six years and managed the marketing portfolio of the network's flagship channel Colors. Rajesh started his career in 2001 as a Senior Account Executive at the Ogilvy & Mather in Mumbai. In March 2019, Rajesh was also a part of the Network18, and worked as the team President for the New Initiatives, where he was responsible for working closely with the leadership team to spearhead new initiatives.

As the Chief Operating Officer of Yupp TV, he handled all the operations in the Middle East and APAC, along with leading content acquisition and originals. Prior to this, Rajesh also served as the business head and handled the broadcast leadership team at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited. As a part of Zee Media, he successfully launched its second General Entertainment Channel (GEC) called '&TV' in 2015. He has also successfully launched notable channels under his leadership.

He handled the marketing tasks associated with the launch of Colors TV channel, which reached the number 3 position within the very first week of its launch and later, reached the number 1 position within a few months of its launch. Similarly, under the leadership of Rajesh &TV successfully created a niche for itself in the market and became extremely popular within the first three years of its launch. Moreover, Rajesh is highly skilled in Broadcasting, Marketing, Digital Media, News Media, Media Planning, Brand Management, Integrated Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Online Advertisements.
