Sunil Ganguly was an Indian instrumentalist from Kolkata, India, who was born on January 1, 1938, and died on June 12, 1999. Sunil Ganguly performed in front of the public in several cities across India, such as Calcutta, Bombay, Delhi, Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati, Agartala, etc. In Mumbai, he performed solo shows lasting the entire night. He also performed at college festivals at IITs and local engineering colleges. He was joined on his recordings and performances by several musicians, including Sri Y. S. Mulki, Sri Dilip Roy, Sri Samir Khasnabis, Sri Swapan Sen, and Sri Manohari Singh.
He frequently appeared on Doordarshan TV shows in Calcutta and Bombay, All India Radio, and Radio Ceylon.
