, he won the “National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.” Saroj Dey debuted in industry as a director in 1955 with the film “Daak Harkara (1958).” His other appreciable movie, “Nisithe (1963),” won a National Award and was featured as the best film in the Bengal film industry.
