The founder of the United Bank of India, Narendra Chandra Dutta, is his grandfather. However, Anik never tried to achieve his goals using his grandfather's name. In 2022, Anik Dutta wrote and directed the exciting movie of the decade, "Aparajito- The Undefeated." This film depicts the life of a struggling and hardworking actor, Aparajito Ray. However, Anik Dutta took inspiration for this film from the novel composed by Bibhutibhushan Mukhopadhyay. Moreover, this movie was very impressive.
