Kala is a psychological thriller scripted and directed by Rohith VS. The film is co-scripted by Yadhu Pushpakaran. Dawn Vincent composed the music. Tovino Thomas, Siju Mathew, Navis Xavier, Rohith VS and Akhil George produced the film.

Shaji and his family are living happily and their family’s income is from farming. But, only Shaji’s people and the workers visited the farm. A group of people is appointed to harvest areca nut and they reach the place. What is the problem over there? What happens after their arrival? The answers explain the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Tovino lives as Shaji and impresses the audience as usual. Sumesh performed excellently and proved his talent. Divya and Lal are impressive with their roles.

The writing is good and the characters are designed with enough details. The director takes time to set up the story and hence it moves a bit slow. The second half of the film is impressive, and the conflict between Tovino and Sumesh is perfectly penned. Both of their characters are strong and they fit perfectly in their roles. The cinematography is awesome and thrill is guaranteed. The BGM gels well with the story. The action sequences are fantastically made and the credit goes to Phoenix Prabhu, the action choreographer.
