Anek is an action thriller flick scripted and directed by Anubhav Sinha. Ayushmann Khurrana, JD Chakravarthy, Andrea Kevichüsa, Deeplina Deka, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, and Loitongbam Dorendra are cast in important roles. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Anubhav Sinha produced the film. The cinematography is by Ewan Mulligan, and the editing is by Yasha Ramchandani. The background score is by Mangesh Dhakde, and the songs are by Anurag Saikia.


Aman is a cop who was given the task of bringing Tiger Sangha, the rebel leader, for peace talks. Aman goes by the name Joshua for the mission. Soon, he gets emotionally connected to the situation. Will he be able to deviate from the rebels and bring peace? The rest of the film speaks about that.

Star Performance

Ayushmann did a fantastic job. Manoj Pahwa, Chakravarthy, Kumud Mishra, and Loitongbam Dorendra had done justice to the given roles.


Anubhav Sinha has come up with a beautiful script with a lot of emotional content and dialogues. The artists are rightly placed, and everyone excels in the given roles. The cinematography is excellent. The beautiful Kashmir and the north-eastern parts of the country that are not showcased much had been captured well in this film. The BGM gels well with the story. The film has a decent production value, and the technical value is excellent.

The film has all the emotional content essential for a patriotic kind of movie. The film has a lot to say about the peace the country needs. The film is definitely watch-worthy!
