The movie released on September 1, 2017, in the theatres. The film is directed by Tamil filmmaker “R.S. Prasanna,” who handled the Tamil version earlier. Prasanna has the story credited to him and the dialogues and screenplay are written by Hitesh Kewalya. The film is the exact remake of the Tamil film altered to suit the Hindi sensibilities. Music composer Anishk-Vayu has added some soulful songs and Anuj Rakesh Dhawan has undertaken the cinematography meticulously.
Plot
It is a story of a sales boy Mudit Sharma (Ayushmann Khurrana) who sends an online proposal to a girl Sugandha (Bhumi Pednekar) and both get engaged and marriage date is announced. Before the marriage day, Mudit takes Sugandha on a bed but could not engage in love due to erectile dysfunction. Being shy of nature, he is unable to express his mental agony. Meanwhile, his father-in-law takes him to a doctor to handle the situation. However, both the family becomes supportive of the marriage, but still, misunderstanding prevails between the couple. Did they get married or not? Visit the theaters to know the result!
Star Performances
Ayushmann Khurrana excels in the role as a shy salesman and emotes well. He has handled the situation of not being ease on the bed with Bhumi and all the emotions of anger, fear, etc. with solace attitude. While Bhumi also gets enough chances to remain supportive to the character of a girl who rejects her boyfriend due to erectile dysfunction. Neeraj Sood and Seema Bhargav as Sugandha's parents had acted well.
Analysis
The film talks about the youth of our generation who always lands up in confusion due to the sexual problem. But the film throws a message how one can overcome the problem with family support. The film is a true analysis of our society and the director Prasanna has narrated the story how the hero can opt for various quacks treating impotence. Every character in the movie steals the screen with dialogue delivery. Special mention must be given to actor Ayushmann Khurrana who had excelled in the role.

Verdict
Director Prasanna treats a simple story very efficiently, but never resorts to crassness. Although the film is good, it is not a family entertainer, but could be watched with the friends.
