Yasha Ramchandani works in the Indian film industry as a film editor. She went to the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune to study film editing. 'Kaun Kamleshwar?,' her student diploma film, earned the Satyajeet Ray Foundations' Best Short Film award at the 2013 London International Film Festival.
She began her career as an on-set editor on films such as Go Goa Gone Click to look into! >> Read More... , Udta Punjab Click to look into! >> Read More... , and Pernicious. She's edited feature films, web series (fiction and non-fiction), and commercials since then. Article 15 and Thappad are two of her most recent films, both of which have gained widespread critical and public praise. For Article 15 (2019), Yasha was nominated for Best Editing at Filmfare and all other mainstream Indian awards, as well as at the prestigious Asian Film Awards for her film Thappad (2020). She won the Filmfare Award for Best Editing for Thappad two years in a row, as well as the FOI Online Award for Best Editing for Article 15 and Thappad. Bob Biswas, Anek, and Aranyak are among her next works, all of which are set to be released in 2021.
