Plot
Philippa Langely lives in Edinburgh. She did not get the promotion. Instead, her boss allowed a better-looking, less experienced woman. She even tells her boss that she is dedicated to her work even though she has ME. But her boss excuses himself by saying that they should give more chances and opportunities to younger people. This angered her. Then she met her ex-husband whom she had two teenage kids. Her husband tells her to keep her job as they lack money. One day, Philippa went to watch a play of Richard III. She so inspires by the play. Richard III's life was full of injustice. She thinks her life is the same as Richard III. Her life is also full of injustice. She starts having visions of Richard III. She then joins the Richard III Society. She stops going to work and takes medication of ME. She began reading books about Richard III. During her research, no one was sure where is Richard III’s dead body buried. Some say it was buried in 1485 in the Leicester Greyfriars Priory choir. But some say his body was thrown into the Soar River. She wanted to know where did he buried and give him justice. Where did Richard III’s dead body buried? Will Philippa be able to provide justice to Richard III? The rest of the story deals with it.
Star Performance
Sally Hawkins did an outstanding performance in the movie. Her role in the entire film was delightful, pleasant, and graceful. Her struggles in the movie were realistic, and, at the same time, it was movie. Steve Coogan did an outstanding performance in the film. His support towards the main lead actress was excellent. Harry Llyod did an exceptional performance in the movie. His role as Richard III was hilarious. He portrays the character of Richard III dramatically. The special appearance or the cameo of Philippa Langley was shocking. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.
Analysis
The film is based on the book called The King's Grave: The Search of Richard III, which was written by Philippa Langley. The film is based on actual incident that happened to Philippa Langley. The storyline was great, but it is not strong. The way the movie shows her journey were lengthy. The visuals in the film was good. The background music and songs were terrific. The dialogues in the movie was excellent. The funny scenes or dialogues were well executed. The film also shows the history of kings and their eras.
