Subhash Kapoor

Subhash Kapoor is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter known for his satirical comedy films like Phas Gaye Re Obama and Jolly LLB. Kapoor started off as a political journalist after he did his MA in Hindi literature and was covering news events in northern part of India during the 1990s time period. In 2001 he directed a short film that won critical acclaim after which there was no turning back for him and he started making short films, advertisement commercials and shifted to Mumbai in 2006 to pursue the career of a director.
