Season 5 was a Tamil language TV show which aired on the channel Vijay TV. The Super singer series is a famous series that aims to find the best vocal talent by conducting a competition. Super singer came out with its junior edition in the year 2007. Same as the adult addition Super Singer Junior is a singing reality show which aims to find the best voice in children between the age groups of 6-14. The contestants for the show are selected through auditions, and there are a series of competitions conducted to find the best talent.
Auditions for the show are conducted in various parts of Tamil Nadu. The fifth season of super Singer Junior aired on 26th November 2016 and finished airing on 17 June 2017. The winner of season 5 of Super Singer Junior was Prithika, who won an apartment worth 40 lacs. Bhavon was the runner up and won a car worth INR 5 lakh, and Gowri was the second runner up and won a cash prize worth INR 3 Lakh.
