It can be said that the serial Ramayana is told from the point of view of Hanuman. The serial starts in Treta Yuga when Ravana takes birth. He is full of evil powers and wants to control the whole world, including Gods. Gods want to eliminate him, and to do that, two gods take birth in the land of Humans. One God is Called Rama and another one is called Hanuman. He takes birth as a monkey. His mum was named Anjani and his father was Vayu Devta. Once, he goes on exploration and eats Surya Devta thinking that it is a fruit. This is the time where his mouth gets bigger. This is the place where Rahu and Ketu are afraid of Lord Hanuman. After that, he gets all his power of flying and doing all the extraordinary things.

Later a priest curses him that he must forget all his powers and can not use them until unless reminded that he has extraordinary power. Later, when he grows up, he meets lord Rama who was there as he was exiled from his kingdom. He tells Hanuman that Ravan has captured his wife, Sita. Hanuman helps him get Mata Sita back and then he takes all of them back to Ayodhya. Dvapara Yuga comes and Ram with his brother Lakshman are now born as Krishna and Balram. They all meet Arjuna and want to help him win the war against Kaurava and his 100 brothers.

This is where Krishna meets Hanuman again and tells him that he was Rama in Treta Yuga and he must help Arjuna win the war. He tells Krishna that he will do whatever he says. Later he takes place on the chariot of Arjuna and helps him from every threat. Hanuman helps them win the war and after that Sree Krishna leaves earth. After that comes Kali Yuga. Hanuman now wants to bring back the kingdom the same as Sri Rama. He with the help of Tulsidas, wants everyone to follow the path of Rama. he tells that Tulsidas is reincarnated and he is Valmiki. He writes Ramcharitmanas to uplift humanity. The serial ends on a happy note.
