Shama Sikander Gesawat is an actress, and film producer, who has a long list of characters, she played in both movies and television serials. She is considered to be one of the most prominent figures in the television industry. She is also the managing director of Chocolate Box Films India Pvt. Ltd, a Mumbai-based film production company. Shama Sikander was born on August 4th, 1981, in Makrana Rajasthan. She belonged to an ordinary family to a mother, who is a housewife and father working as a marble supplier. When she was 10 years of age, her family moved to Mumbai. She mentioned in her interviews that living in Mumbai was not easy for them, they used to face food shortages and sometimes sleep with hungry stomach. During her childhood years, Shama Sikander used to move a lot, from one place to another, and at the time of graduation, she changed more than 9 schools. In Mumbai, she got herself into Taneja School of Acting (1995), and graduated a year later. She began her career working in some movies as a supporting role, and she got her big shot on screen in 2003, when she was cast in a very popular TV serial, Yeh Meri Life Hai (2003-2005), as Pooja Mehta. The performance earned her a list of awards, such as Sony TV’s “Best face” (2005),“Best Actress” (2005), also “Best Debut” (2004). In 2008, she returned to Bollywood with a lead role in a movie, Dhoom Dadakka (2008). Shama Sikander launched women's wear fashion label Saisha in the upscale Mumbai suburb of Bandra West. She has also cast herself as a model in her own fashion shows.


Sheeba Chaddha

Sheeba Chaddha was born in Delhi in the year 1973 and is a graduate in English from the renowned Hans Raj College in Delhi University. While in college, she developed a liking for acting and theatre and discovered that this field interested her. Pursuing this interest, she went on to become a television, stage and movie actress. Sheeba Chaddha has been known to play characters that are impactful and pivotal in the story of the film. She made her debut in the Bollywood industry with the movie Dil Se in which is a love story set in the backdrop of an insurgent north-east India. She then appeared in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam as Aishwarya Rai’s sister. She went on to act in various noted films such as Parzania, Delhi-6, in which she played the role of the younger daughter in law of the family and Luck By Chance, in which she portrayed the middle-class sister trying to behave ‘rich’ of Juhi Chawla. She was seen in Talaash as well, as a sex worker. She acted in a short film, ‘Prakata Het Yad’ which was in Gibberish, which also won the Audience Choice Award for Short Film. She very recently appeared in the movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha in the year 2015 as the quirky Buaji. Apart from being a film actress, she has also acted in various Hindi television soaps. Her one of the first appearances was in Love Marriage in the year 2002 and then returned to television in 2007 with the sitcom Kasturi.
