Kairasi Kudumbam is a Tamil series that started airing on Jaya TV on 22^nd April 2015 and went off air on 24^th November 2017. Thiruselvam Theaters produced this show that aired from Monday to Friday at 8:30 pm.

Sivagnanam is the elder son of the family. His mother raised him and his siblings as a single parent, after their father’s death. Sivagnanam has three brothers and two sisters. Meenakshi is Sivagnanam’s wife. His mother considers Meenakshi her elder daughter, and wishes her next daughter-in-law to be like Meenakshi, who cares for everyone. Sivagnanam is an ideal son and an honest businessman. Hence, he is respected in his town. As he is honest and treats everyone equally, he has enemies, too. Meenakshi’s mother, Indrani, hates her to the core. When Meenakshi’s mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law celebrate her, Indrani curses her on Meenakshi’s wedding day. Why did she curse Meenakshi? Did Meenakshi’s marriage to Sivagnanam disturb Indrani? The rest of the story focuses on these.

V. Thiruselvam scripted and directed the series. It is co-scripted by V. Padmavathy.
