Enakku 25, Unakku 45 is a 2021 telemovie premiered on Vasantham. It is a light-hearted comedy starring Shamini Chandru and Harikrishnan in the lead roles. The powerful bond between a mother and a daughter is unbreakable- and that is the overall plot of the movie. The story revolves around two characters- Shana (aged 25) and Chellama (aged 45). Chellama is a single mother and has raised Shana all by herself. The relationship between this mother-daughter duo is amicable. Shana cares for her mother more than her life. She decides to get married but is distressed when she thinks that her mother will be left all alone after her marriage. And so, she signs Chellama on a match-making website. It’s pretty funny if you look at it from the perspective of an Indian daughter, but at the same time very emotional that one day Shana would have to leave her mother. Chellama meets three men. Does she get married to any? Does she even like them? Is Shana satisfied with her soon-to-be stepdad? The rest of the story deals with that.
