Avan Aval Avar is a Tamil TV series which premiered on Vasantham on 20 Th July 2020. The show aired from Monday to Thursday at 9 PM. It is a common stereotype that old people are cranky and always annoyed at the youth. Young people also forget that this behaviour may be a reflection of their loneliness. This miscommunication between the two age groups leads to enmity and confusion. However, it is very easy to solve this problem. An open dialogue between the two groups is all that is necessary. This show, Avan Aval Avar, builds upon this theme. The show follows the story of three people, a man, Avan, a woman, Aval and an old man, Avar.
Avan is a happy go lucky man, an extrovert who likes to mix with people. He decides to stay as a paying guest in Avar’s house. His next-door neighbor is Aval. Her character traits are completely opposite to his outgoing nature. She is uptight and does not like to interact much. However, after some chance encounters, they realize that they have similarities. Together, they decide to help Avar fulfill a long-cherished dream. The best feature of this series is its duration. The story unfolds over the course of four episodes of twenty – three to twenty – five minutes each. The shortness of the series is the reason for its sweetness. This slice of life tale is best enjoyed over its short duration.
