Vanakkam Singai is a Tamil language TV show that airs on the channel Mediacorp Vasantham, a Singaporean-Tamil TV channel. The show premiers on TV every Sunday at 9 am for one hour. It is a Sunday morning entertainment show that aims to give the viewers a kick start for their day. It started airing on television on 5 January 2020. Vanakkam Singai is a compilation of various segments, each of which is directed to a different age group, but everyone enjoys it nonetheless. The show has different segments that focus on food, fitness, lifestyle, music, art, culture, and literature. The first segment is the food segment in which different breakfast recipes are taught to suit the lazy Sunday mornings.
The second is a fitness segment in which a few fitness trainers perform a short and simple, easy-to-follow exercise routine so that the viewers can follow them, letting the energy kick through them. These are followed by short tips for the viewers regarding their lifestyle and health. After these, the show takes a turn for the good. The entertainment segment that promises fun actually begins from there. In one segment, the team engages in a short discussion session about the daily events that the viewers can relate to. There is also a comedy segment in which a comedian tells jokes. A music segment featuring talented people perform. There is a segment called ‘cool kavithai’, which aims at enhancing the Tamil literature skills of the viewers. One segment features a few clips and music videos from movies.
