Panjagni is a Malayalam serial that started airing on Flowers TV on 5thAugust 2024. The serial’s title is inspired by Panchagni, a 1986 Malayalam movie. Manoj Sreekalam directed the serial.
Renuka and Chandrasenan are husband and wife. They have three daughters. Chandrasenan wanted a son, and Renuka was pregnant again. During the labor, Renuka delivered twin daughters and died. As he wanted a son, Chandrasenan refused to take care of those kids. Later, he married a wealthy woman, Kalavathy. Kalavathy laid a condition before Chandrasenan before their marriage that he should avoid his five daughters. He agreed and tied the knot with her. Years passed, and Amrita, the elder daughter of Chandrasenan, took care of all her sisters. These girls launched a restaurant, Pancharatnam. This didn’t go well with their stepmother, Kalavathy. She tried all the possible methods to shut down their business. What are the safety measures Amrita and her sisters took to save their business? Were they able to succeed? The rest of the story follows these.
