M80 Moosa is a Malayalam comedy serial which is aired on Media One TV. It has started recently and has been a success among the audience.

It has aired over two hundred fifty episodes. Each episode has a runtime of twenty-five minutes. It is aired during the weekdays at prime time. The story is about Moosa who is a fishmonger, and he lives in a small village in Kerala. People of that village discriminate against each other on grounds on various things, with profession being one such thing. There are other who will be friendly with him. He considers them to be his friend and is willing to do anything for them. Despite all the discrimination he faces, he doesn't get locked up in his house, and he is ready to live his life like the way other people do. He doesn't care about what other people are saying about him, and he minds his own business. His friends are always there for him. When he is not present, they will fight with against anybody who is saying bad things about him. They won't make anybody hurt his reputation.

M80 Moosa shows us the dark side of the social evils which are still present at a locations. Just because there are a few problems, it doesn't mean that you should listen to them and not love your life. You should be proud of yourself despite all that. Being a fisherman, Moosa earns enough to sustain his life. He loves a girl who belongs to a family of upper caste people. The girl also loves him but she is unable to convince her family for their marriage. They meet at night in the ocean and have a long walk to the beach.

His neighbours get to know about all this and they are jealous of him. They don't want them to be happy when they are struggling for livelihood. They go to the city and inform the parents of the girl all about him. Her father gets angry and sets out to settle the score. Following all this, Moosa hides at various places. For a few days, he even sleeps in the boat. Everybody is searching for him and his friends are hiding him from all the the trouble.
