Mane Maddina Vignaana is a Kannada TV show that aired on the channel Kasthuri TV. The programme was hosted by a renowned Ayurvedic specialist, Dr. Anitha. Mane Maddina Vignaana is a health programme in which the host talks about various diseases and their remedies. She explains to the audience about various diseases in detail as to how and why they occur, what they do to our body, what precautions are to be taken, and how they can be treated at home. The show ran for four episodes and the topics covered are as follows. The first episode is “7 tips to drink water”. The host spoke about the importance and the required daily intake of water in all the seasons. She mentioned a few ingredients to be added in water to increase the nutrient content of it.

The second episode is “Aloe vera: the Ayurvedic miracle plant for skin, hair & weight loss”. Aloe vera is a plant that can be used for medicinal and cosmetic purposes. The host described the nutrients present in it and how it does its actions. The third episode is “Best home remedies to lose weight naturally”. The host suggested to reduce simple carbs and increase protein intake.

The fourth episode is “home remedies for diabetes”. In this episode, the host described the symptoms of diabetes and how it can be controlled naturally. She advised the viewers to eat food rich in fiber, ragi, millets, and to reduce carbohydrates. She suggested taking an Ayurvedic mixture consisting of methi seeds, cinnamon, and pudina (mint leaves) in boiled water.
