Shanthi is from a humble family. She is not much educated but is a noblewoman who cares for her family well. She is married to Sushanth, who is from a wealthy family, and they have a son, Raghav. As Shanthi is not much educated, everyone at her home, right from her husband to her mother-in-law, looks down on her. Her co-sister, Sadhana, who initially, appears to be friendly with her, used to get favours from Shanthi. The only support at her in-law’s house is Varsha, Sadhana’s daughter. She supports Shanthi as much as possible and comforts her in public gatherings and at home when anyone teases her. Other than Varsha, their maid, Rathnamma, supports Shanthi. Sushanth doesn’t lend his ears to what Shanthi says. Mantra, who was imprisoned due to Shanthi, decides to take revenge. She tactically becomes Sushanth’s business partner. Will Shanthi overcome all her hurdles and win her family’s heart? The rest of the story deals with this.
