Pathu Sathu is the story of a couple, whose names were Pathu and Sathu. The story follows the daily happenings in the lives of this couple and their child in a comical way. Pathu and Sathu have nosy neighbors, whose interference with their lives makes it much funnier. When any small event or occasion takes place in their life, the neighbors, mainly two ladies make it their job to come over to their house and try to influence it. Another recurring character in the show is a doctor, who is called to their house for every minor health inconvenience.
Pathu Sathu team directed the ‘April fools’ episode along with the cast of another famous Kannada serial called Paapa Pandu. The show received immense love for making its viewers laugh till their stomachs hurt.
