This story is about a girl child, Raga, who doesn’t receive the love from her family. because she is a girl child. Her mother is the only person who supports her and cares for her. She longs for her father’s love.

The first episode starts with the introduction of Sindhu and Seenaappa. He searches Sindhu for aborting the pregnancy after knowing the truth that she will give birth to the girl child. But Sindhu escapes and gives birth to the baby girl in the desolate and deprived situation. She is happy to see her newborn baby, but this happiness lives short when Seenappa arrives takes a harsh decision against her will. He warns Sindhu that if Raga should be alive, she should agree with his conditions. He says that she alone should grow the baby, and she should not recognize her as their daughter in any situation. If she agrees for it, he leaves the plan of dropping the child in the river. For the life of her daughter, Sindhu agrees to it and feels a lot when Raga suffers for the recognition of her. Seenappa’s mother, Nagamma, is the full support to him in this matter. Soon after the years, Sindhu gives birth to a boy child and celebrates it as a big festival, disappointing Raga.

Sindhu develops an orphan girl child along with Raga. Nagamma stops Raga from pursuing her education. Everyone apart from her mother hurts her and refuses her. Often Seenappa goes for a job which makes extra time for Sindhu for her daughter. Sukanya is the boss of Seenappa. Ankith, Sukanya’s son, returns to India after a long while. His mother cares for disabled children over the city. When Raga was a child, she saves Ankith from an accident, which makes Ankith fall for her. He searches for her now to express his longing and gratitude towards her.

Raga sells milk to contribute some income to the family. Bullet Basaiya tortures her to acquire her. Raga escapes from him and thinks that these things have happened because she does not have the support and decides to end her life. But thinking about all the difficulties faced by her mother, she drops the idea. Later she warns Basaiya with the help of her friend Stella. When guests arrive home, her grandmother introduces her as a maid to everyone. Here Ankith usually searches for her and swings in the memory of Raga without knowing her identity. The situation makes them meet together through an accident. Ankith helps Raga, who is injured and gives her a lift, which makes Samyama hurting. She is faced with different issues when family plans for Tara’s marriage. This situation turns positive to Basaiya when she asks for money from him. He makes her accept all his conditions to give money. He emotionally blackmails her. Sindhu takes a thrashing decision when she misses Tara’s wedding. Abinandan dismisses Seenappa from the company. But Raga finds him and brings home that situation makes Nagamma mock her. She, along with Stella, threatens Basaiya for his behavior. Samyama lashes out when Sukanya refuses to cancel the contract of Raga as she did not like her.

In the meantime, Chakri loves Ankith’s sister Sada. Tara’s husband has an evil eye on Raga and later came to know her true identity. Ankith reaches the place where the incident happened. Tara’s husband misbehaves with Raga, which results in her breakdown. Raga helps Ankith in several situations, but both are hiding the identity of the incident. Chakri spies Raga and she guesses it through Sindhu and tries to expose it to Sada. Seenappa gets arrested, which turns to be a good chance for Samyama. Ankith now plans an idea for the marriage with Samyama. Stella misleads her, and Ankith hears the news of his marriage with Samyama. He then exposes her decision to Sada. He gets angry after knowing Sada’s relationship with Chakri. Later he reveals all his miseries to Raga. Ankith exposes Sada’s relationship in his family, and Raga does the same in her family. but the reaction of both the family is the same. They disagree with their marriage. Ankith compromises both the family, which receives the gratitude of Raga. When Seenappa learns the truth about Sada’s pregnancy, he thrashes on Chakri and agrees with the marriage. Situations make them closer during the marriage preparations. And lastly, after their marriage, Ankith came to know the truth about the incident. He feels for Raga and worries when the family arranges his marriage with Samyama. He exposes his love for Raga, but she refuses.

Here Seenappa plans the marriage of Raga with an evil person, and Ankith saves it by struggling hard. Later, Raga accepts his love, and Ankith suffers a lot, as his mother wants him to marry Samyama. He should convince his mother for his love. Will the situation turn positive to Ankith? Will Seenappa change his mind for Raga? Will Raga win the love of her father? Will Raga and Ankith reunite and live happily? The answers form the rest of the story. It is a story on the theme of the social distress of gender equality in society.
