Eradu Kanasu is a Kannada serial broadcast on the Star Suvarna channel. This serial is based on the life of two sisters Subbiaka Sahaja,and Gubbi. They only have a father as their mother has died. Subbi has a campus interview, so Gubbi is trying to waking her up, not knowing that she has already gotten up. Gubbi is the elder sister. They support each other in every aspect of life. They take an auto to their college every day, which is driven by their father. They both stop in the way, for taking God’s blessing. Subbi also has an exam. But a woman is lying injured on the road, so she has to be taken to the hospital. Gubbi takes the woman to the hospital, not even thinking that she would be late for her exam. Meanwhile, Subbitakes another auto to reach the college for her interview.

In college, a man named Arjun wins a bet. He is the most famous boy of Subbi’scollege. He likes Subbi. Subbi’s and Gubbi’s father sees his wife i.e. their mother in Gubbi. Gubbi also reaches the college for her exam, after getting the injured woman to the hospital. They both go to different colleges. Subbi leaves her certificates in her father’s auto, which her father races to give her. Subbi is very embarrassed as the interviewer insults her father or getting in the room without permission. Subbu takes her father’s hand and takes him back in front of the interviewers. She introduces her as her father and fights for her father in front of them. She leaves the interview.

Janaki is angry with Subbi for leaving the interview like this. Their father still talks with his dead wife, Laxmi, to discuss every problem with her. He is upset about ruining Subbi’s interview. Gubbi is consoling Subbi. Subbi is trying to make Janaki forgive her. Subbi and her friend come to invite an influential person as the chief guest in their college. They give her the invitation and she tells them to send their principal the next time. Gubbi is practicing to be a doctor. She is going to tend Agni, an extremely violent case of mental illness. Her co-doctors advise her not to be waste time on Agni as he is a hopeless case. But she is determined to help Agni. Meanwhile, Arjun says that he fellin love, at the very first sight, with Subbi. Subbi’s friends advise her to say yes.
