The Aam Aadmi Family revolves around the middle-class Sharma family of Mr. Satendra Sharma or Sharmaji (played by Brijendra Kala), his wife, Madhu Sharma Madhu Sharma is an Indian film actress, known for >> Read More... The drama deals with the daily banters of an Indian middle-class family revolving around finance, relationships, modernization, and the desires of each family member.
 
In season 1, the makers introduced the banter around replacing the old TV set, Sonu's attempts to bring a few changes to her mother's wardrobe, Sonu's heartbreak and quirky situation around her decision about arranged marriage, and Mr. Sharma's promotion. Season 2 starts with Mr. Sharma's surprise visit to his home. Will his family be surprised, or will he? The second episode shows the kids picking up a fault in the household chores, thus making Madhu or their mom challenge them to run the household chores for the next 24 hours.

The third episode opened up with Bobby's wish to go on a Goa trip, but like every Indian dad, Mr. Sharma denied his request. His only chance for redemption is to participate in the Ram Leela. The following four episodes introduce Sonu's boyfriend, Sarthak, into the scene, his meeting with the Sharma family, some serious and funny discussions and rounds of convincing, and finally, the shenanigans of Sarthak and Sonu's wedding.

The Aam Aadmi Family, as its name suggests, depicts the happy and peaceful life of an emotional yet hardworking father, a sweet and loving mother, two bantering yet sweetheart kids, and a cool Dadi, who becomes the notorious kid of the household.
