Lootere Bandits of British India is an Indian Historical show. Indian history is considered to be one of the most intricate and complicated past that a country has ever had. It is a widely known fact that the British ruled over India for almost around 100 years and exploited every resource there ever was. The show Lootere presents a very unique and interesting perspective on our history. The show depicts a tribe that went haywire and finally went rogue by looting British governments. The show deals with what went behind in the search for the tribe and how because of a few people, the whole tribe was vindicated and made into a villain plotting against the government. The show presents the harsh reality of those times when people didn’t have enough food to feed themselves twice a day. It also showed how the British exploited not just the farms, mines, and forests of India but also the people of India. They charged taxes and didn’t give them much freedom in their own home.
The show captures all this in a thrilling way which is one of the reasons the show was a huge hit among history buffs and youngsters. The show used to air on the Hindi channel, Epic TV.
