Khattey Meethey Guppey is cookery and a talk show combined broadcast on the Epic channel. Chef Ranveer and Manu Bhai take us to this beautiful journey in which they let their Bengali food urging soul wild. Food recipes from the streets of Kolkata and Maharashtra are chosen and presented in their traditional form in this show. The two hosts of this show tries to talk in Bengali as much as possible, telling each other their life stories and love lives. They also speak in Hindi. Manu Bhai is the funnier host, as he is not the chef and is just standing there to irritate Ranveer and ask him silly questions. He loves Paneer and requests Ranveer to put that in everything. He can create songs randomly, on the spot, from any given word in Bengali.

After the dish is prepared both of them taste the dish and give their reviews. Manu Bhai shares his experiences from his native village while Ranveer prepares the dishes. In some of the episodes, Manu Bhai also prepares some dishes and in some episodes, he helps Ranveer prepare dishes. Dishes made from natural ingredients, plated in their traditional utensils, are presented. Ranveer keeps on giving facts related to these food items side by side. He also provides the name of all the ingredients used in a particular dish. Manu Bhai once attended a Russian wedding and encountered many varieties of Salads. Now this story is related to the dish Ranveer is preparing and he educates us on this topic that India too has many varieties of Salads. We just do not know in how many forms.
