. Saurav Chakraborty directed the show. The series belongs to the suspense and thriller genres. The series premiered on February 21, 2020. Sougata Sinha, a fiction writer from the States and author of several bestsellers, returns to Kolkata after a long break from his work. He is with his wife, Aditi, and his daughter, Rekha.
During the promotional drive for his next novel, he faces a girl named Sulagana, who was his former girlfriend and took her life years ago. She claims that Sougata killed his best friend Kanai on the day of Diwali back then and started blackmailing him. The writer has no idea about her ex-girlfriend, his best friend, or him murdering someone. Sougata decides to take a break after a series of events and leaves for a trip into the hills of northern Bengal. Despite this, as they stay at the resort, the truths are set to be exposed. Saurav Chakraborty managed to draw the audience into the story with his skills.
