Born on 18 July 1982, Priyanka Chopra is an established actress and ex Miss World. She is also a talented singer. She is one of the richest actresses of Indian film industry and is a celebrated diva of Bollywood. Priyanka Chopra is bestowed with numerous credits; she has won the Filmfare awards 4 times and National Award once. 

Born in Jamshedpur, Priyanka’s parents were doctors in Indian Army. It was during the year 2000, that this actress stepped into the Femina Miss India contest and from then on her journey to success is indeed commendable. She was the runner up in the contest and eventually won the Miss World title in 2000. She made her entry into films through the Tamil film Tamizhan. Later she was offered roles in Hindi films and a couple were box office hits during her initial stages. The 2004 thriller Aitraz gained her the much needed appreciation as she earnestly portrayed the role of a seductress. Then she acted in Krrish and Don which were successful.

She went on to play unconventional roles and gained acknowledgment for her all-round acting. Chopra had a brief stint with stage shows and she had also penned for newspapers. She is also a good singer and her first single was released during 2012. 

Priyanka’s philanthropism is very well known and she supports child rights by being the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights. Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Mugdha Godse is an Indian model comes to an actress known for her work in the movie Fashion. She was born into a middle-class family in Pune and attended the Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya, at Sadashiv Peth, Pune. She had to work extremely hard financially before achieving stardom. Mugdha and her sister Madhura used to sell oil and earn Rs 100 a day, for a living. Later on, she concentrated on her fitness and hit the gym on a regular basis so as to participate in local beauty contests.

Neeta Lulla is a costume designer, having worked in over 300 films, since the 1990s, with noted filmmakers like Yash Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Subhash Ghai, Sooraj R. Barjatya, etc. She made her debut as a film costume designer with the film ‘Tamasha’ which had Kimi Katkar in the lead role. Neena started as an assistant to the former Indian fashion choreographer, Jeanne Naoroji, in the late 1980’s. After gaining some experience, she took up her career independently. After few films, she followed her career with Yash Chopra’s ’ Lamhe’, ‘Chandni’,’Darr’.

Deepika Padukone is an Indian actress and model. She was born on 5th January 1986. Deepika is one of the most famous celebrities. She is working in Bollywood films and won two film fare awards. She is the daughter of the badminton trouper Prakash Padukone. Copenhagen was the birth place of Deepika. She was raised in Bangalore. She frolicked badminton in national level championship in her teenage but later on she switched her career from spots and became a model. In 2006 she did receive some offers for Indian films and did her film debut. In 2007 she did double role in her first Indian bestseller film Om Shanti Om. In the same year she won the film fare award for best female debut. In 2009 she performed in an Indian film Love Aaj Kal and in 2010 she acted in a drama Lafangey Parindey. Her performance in Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008 and Housefull in 2010 got negative reviews.

In 2012 her performance in the super hit movie Cocktail was turning point of her career and she won many awards in different ceremonies and she was nominated as the best actress. After that she acted in many super hit films of Bollywood such as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013, Chennai Express which is also released in 2013 and Happy New Year in 2014. She won film fare in 2013 for the performance and lovely acting in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Deepika Padukone also did many stage shows as well. Born in an army family to Col. AjayKumar and AshimaSharma on May 1st 1988, Anushka Sharma has excelled in her career as an actress. She at the time had no such aspirations to become an actress.

For her role in the movie she won the Best Supporting Actress at Filmfare, Zee Cine, Stardust, and IIFA awards. Anushka recently starred opposite Aamir Khan in the blockbuster PK. The movie, which questions religion and the superstitions that come with, became a huge hit worldwide. It has broken box records in India and around the world for an Indian film. Anushka made her debut as a producer in NH10 in 2015 along with playing the leading role. It is a crime-thriller that looks at various social issues such as honor killing and street crimes in India.

Kirron Kher or Kirron Anupam Kher was Kiran Thakar Singh in real life. She was born on June 14, 1955 in Punjab, India and she was raised in Chandigarh. Because of her belief in numerology, she decided to alter her name from Kiron or Kiran to Kirron. She is a veteran Indian film and television actress. She is also a theatre artist and a television host who belongs to the Bhartiya Janata Party. She was voted in Lok Sabha, the lower house of India’s Parliament. Kiran is the sister of Kanwal Thakar Kaur, a popular badminton player. She has a brother who died last 2003 and another sister who was married to a retired Naval Officer.

She studied in Chandigarh and graduated in the Department of Indian Theatre of Punjab University. She got married to Gautam Berry, a wealthy businessman from Mumbai. They had a son name Sikandar Kher who is also an actor. Later, the two had a divorce and she remarries the Bollywood actor, Anupam Kher in 1985.

During the 80’s, Kiran tried her luck in the film industry to no success. She visits different producers and search for any role in films. Before she got married to Anupam, they have become friends since he is also a struggling actor and they have known each other in the University of Chandigarh. They worked in the same theatre industry and worked together in Chandpuri Ki Champabai. Anupam got his break in the film, Saaransh and later he divorced his wife. Kiran gets divorced as well and she got married to Anupam. The two are now running a production house.

She was debuted as a film actress in the Punjabi film, Aasra Pyar Da in 1983. Later, she had her break in films. From 1983 to 1996, she did only one Hindi film, Pestonjee with Anupam Kher. She came back into theatre and performed in the play, Saalgirah under the direction of Feroz Abbas Khan. Then she became a host of television shows like Zee TV’s Purushkshetra, Kiron Kher Today and Jagte Raho before she started doing Bollywood films. On her comeback to the big screen, she was awarded the Special Jury Award in the National Film Awards for bagging the role of Sardari Begum in the Hindi film, Sardari Begum in 1996. Rita wanted to share the award with her but Kiran claims that she spent many hours on practicing her dialogues, and so the award should not be shared by anyone.

She appeared in the romantic drama film, Devdas in 2002 and played the role of Sumitra Chakraborty. She gained a nomination in the Filmfare’s Best Supporting Actress award. She also did the French/German film, Khamosh Pani in 2003. This is the story that depicts the predicaments of a woman who was abducted while the partition of Bristish Indian Empire is happening. She got the Best Actress Award in the Locano International Film Festival in Switzerland, Karachi’s International Film Festival in Argentina’s International Festivals in Ciepie, South Africa’s Cape Town. The film received few awards as well.

In 2004, the IFFLA or Indian film Festival of Los Angeles, paid tribute to her during their yearly festival. In 2010, she did the episode, Damaged in the television series, ER together with her husband. In 2005, she appeared as Sunanda in TV serial, Prratima which was aired on Sahara One. Prior to this, she also made an appearance in television series like Isi Bahane, Dil Na Jaane Kyon and Chausath Panne.

She earned positive responses from her films Main Hoon Na, Veer Zaara, Hum Tum and Mangal Pandey: The rising. Her role as Mitro, the mother of DJ (played by Aamir Khan) in the Indian drama film, Rang De Basanti became a box office and gained her nomination to the Filmfare’s Best Supporting Actress Award. She was also appreciated in her characters in Fanaa and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Kiran also did some comedic roles in Singh is Kinng, Dostana and more. She was also one of the juries in India’s Got Talent in 2009.

Dhimant Vyas is a Bollywood art director who worked for the Hindi film industry. He completed his animation in filmmaking at the National Institute of Design in 1995. Apart from that, he worked as an animation professional at Aardman Animation Limited for 8 months, and later joined Tata Interactive Systems for three years, from 2005 to 2008. He also worked as a creative director and senior consultant in animation and design for Tata Interactive Systems, which had its office in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Presently, he is working as a Chief Creative Director for Byju's The Learning App in Bangalore, Karnataka, from November 2020.

Vaibhav Kumaresh is an Animated filmmaker and founder-director of Vaibhav Studios. He is a fine arts graduate in animated film making at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He is an active member of The Animation Society of India (TASI) and teaches animation at various animation and design schools. Vaibhav studios were founded in 2003 and have created many appreciable animated contents for TV commercials and channel promotions like the Amaron Battery ad campaign, the Vodafone Zumiez, and many more. They use all mediums of animation like 2D, stop motion, and computer-generated 3D animations.

Hitendra Ghosh is an Indian sound designer who works predominately in the Hindi film industry. He is best known for his works in movies such as Swades, Jungle, and Rang De Basanti. Hitendra Ghosh is a two-time winner of a national award for Best Audiography for the films Ek Pal (1985) and Game (2011) and won the National award for Best Sound Recording for the movie Junoon in 1978.

Shahid Kapoor starter forthcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu’s manager, Shree Narayan Singh who beforehand functioned with Akshay Kumar on Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is firm to make another social play. Allegedly, Shree's Mukambika Movies and Prernaa Arora’s Kriarj Theatre is grouping up for the women-centered film named, Jasmine –a tale of a leased womb. Chinni Prakash is an Indian choreographer, actor, art director, director, and script-writer. He always had an eye for making it into the Arena of Cinema in India. Jackky Bhagnani is a talented actor in the Bollywood industry He is the son of Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani He was born on the Christmas day: 25th December in Kolkata, West Bengal & he belongs to a Sindhi family. Akshaye Khanna is a popular Indian film actor. He was born on March 28, 1975, in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India to Bollywood actor, Vinod Khanna and Geetanjali Khanna. His brother, Rahul Khanna is also an actor and they are both members of South Mumbai’s Royal Willingdon Sports Club. Akshaye studied at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai. 

After this, he was debuted in the Bollywood romance film, Himalay Putra in the year 1997, along with Hema Malini, Satish Shah, and Johnny Lever. This film was produced by his father, but it became unsuccessful at the box-office. In the same year, he acted in Sunny Deol-starrer film, Border. His role as the 2nd Lieutenant was initially offered to Aamir Khan, but due to date issues, the actor declined the offer and so Akshaye was cast in the film. He earned the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and got nominated at the Star Screen Award for the Best Actor in a Supporting Role in the year 1998. Followed by this, was a string of not so successful films including, Mohabbat, Kudrat, Love You Hamesha, Laawaris, and Dahek: A Burning Passion from the year 1997 to 1999. 

Akshaye was starred in the Bollywood romantic drama musical film, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, alongside Rajesh Khanna. Though the film did an average business at the box-office, he received praises for his brilliant acting. Akshaye acted opposite Aishwarya Rai in the critical and commercial Bollywood romantic drama film, Taal, which was helmed by Subhash Ghai. In the year 2001, Akshaye appeared in the multi-starrer comedy-drama film, Dil Chahta Hai, alongside Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Preity Zinta and Dimple Kapadia. This film became a defining moment in his career as it turns out to be a commercial and critical success. Initially, his role as Sid was offered to Abhishek Bachchan, but he turned it down, and so Akshaye was cast in the film and was applauded by his brilliant performance. He also earned the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and his career was re-launched. In 2002, he played as a villain in Bobby Deol-starrer Humraaz. This film earned him critical acclaim and a nomination at the Filmfare for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Later, he shifted to doing comedy films and was cast in the Priyadarshan’s Hungama in 2003 and Hulchul in 2004; both films made it to the box-office success.

This was followed by lukewarm and unsuccessful films like Aap Ki Khatir and Shaadi Se Pehle in 2006, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Gandhi, My Father and Naqaab in 2007 and Mere Baap Pehle Aap in 2008. Akshaye later appeared in Abbas-Mustan’s blockbuster thriller film Race in 2008. This film became the 4th highest-grossing film of the year and his character as Rajeev Singh earned him the Screen Awards and IIFA Awards for Best Villain. But his performance as Harilal Gandhi, the son of Mahatma Gandhi (played by Darshan Jariwala) in the critically acclaimed biographical drama film, ‘Gandhi, My Father’ was considered as his best performance as an actor. 

In the year 2010, Akshaye was starred in the action-comedy film, No Problem, along with Sanjay Dutt and Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. He was also praised by his performances in the action thriller film, Aakrosh and in the heist comedy film, Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Besides acting, Akshaye voiced the character of Alex the Parrot in the 3D animated film, Delhi Safari in 2012. He was also featured in the Hindi comedy film, Gali Gali Chor Hai, along with Shriya Sarn and Mugdha Godse. 

After this, he took a hiatus from acting and recently made a comeback in the upcoming action-adventure film, Dishoom, helmed by Rohit Dhawan and is expected to release in the year 2016.

Born on 10th September 1972, Anurag Kashyap has established himself in Bollywood as a prominent director, producer, and screenwriter while even giving acting a try.  A born and raised Uttar Pradeshi, Kashyap had keen interest in science and aimed to become a scientist. In an interview Anurag said that he had no dreams of going into the film industry and had all hopes of pursuing Zoology. He went on to say, this all changed in 1993 after he watched Bicycle Thieves, an Italian film directed by Vittorio De Sica. The film inspired him enough to give us becoming a scientist and move to Dehli to become a filmmaker.    

Anurag got his first chance in the industry as a screenwriter for Auto Narayan when the initial script by Subramaniam was not working and Anurag was given a chance to rewrite it. He then wrote the screenplay for Jayate, a Hansal Mehta film, which was never released. Ram Gopal Varma was impressed by Anurag’s work in Auto Narayan and signed him for the screenplay and dialogue for his thriller, Satya. The film was critically acclaimed as one of the best crime, gangster movie of Bollywood. He then dabbled with production after some time with his director debut in Paanch. The movie faced trouble with the certification board due to the content not being suitable for all.  In 2012, he took on two ambitious movies in Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and 2, which received numerous awards and outstanding reviews. He recently produced and directed Bombay Velvet, which is currently in theatre and has received praise from critics.

Amol Gupte was born in 1962 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is a prominent screenplay writer, actor and a director as well. He is particularly regarded for his work in the Bollywood movie 'Taare Zameen Par', which got released in the year 2007. He did as a creative director and a screenplay writer. He did acquire the movie and its concept along with his wife Deepa Bhatia. He had also been the chairperson for the Children's film society right from 2012 till now. As right now, he has directed three movies and worked as a screenplay writer for three movies.

A. R. Rahman is a Legendary Music Composer, prominently known for his rocking music for the movie “The Slumdog Millionaire”. He had won a couple of Oscars for this album and made India proud.  Allah-Rakha Rahman’s birth name is A.S.Dileep Kumar. He was born on January 6th, 1967 in Chennai. His music journey had begun at the age of 4 when he learned piano. At the age of 11, he joined the Maestro Ilayaraja's troupe as a Keyboard player. He made his debut as a composer with the legendary film-maker G.R.Maniratnam’s film “Roja” which came out in 1992. Some of his popular music albums were for the movies like Rangeela, Bombay, Dil Se and Lagaan: Once upon a time in India.

A.R. Murugadoss is such a familiar name all over India. He is one among the best film directors in India. Being born in the southern state Tamilnadu, A.R. Murugadoss reached fame in northern states too. His popularity rose, through the film Ghajini starred by Surya and Asin. After watching this film, Bollywood star Aamir Khan called A.R. Murugadoss and asked him to direct the film in Hindi. The success of the Hindi Ghajini is the turning point in A.R. Murugadoss’s life. His debut movie was Dheena. Prasoon Joshi is an Indian poet, writer, lyricist and also an advertising guru. He is also the President of the McCann Worldgroup in South Asia and the CEO of McCann Wordgroup in India. He won the Best Lyricist award at the Filmfare for two consecutive times from 2007 to 2008. In year 2014, he received the same award for the biographical sports drama film, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He also won the Best Lyricist award at the National Film Award twice; one for Aamir Khan’s drama film, Taare Zameen Par and another one for the historical war drama film, Chittagong.

Prasoon was born on September 16, 1971 in Uttarakhand, India and spent most of his childhood days in Almora. His father is D.K. Joshi, a PCS Officer and his mother is Sushma Joshi, a political science lecturer who has been part of the All India Radio for over 30-years. Prasoon starter his career in writing at the early age of 17. He wrote his first book, Main Aur Woh which was inspired by Thus Spake Zarathustra by Frederich Nietzsche. Subsequently, he wrote two more books which established him as an author. He launched his book, Sunshine Lanes on January 2013 at the Jaipur Literature Festival. He studied Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Physics until he was elected to took a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India. At the same time, he decided to start his venture in advertising.

Prasoon started his career in one of the leading agencies worldwide, Ogilvy & Mather in New Delhi. For more than a decade, he worked as a Creative Star and became an Executive Creative Director in the leading office in Mumbai. In 2002, he also worked as the Executive Vice President and the National Creative Director of the global advertising agency, the McCann Erikson and later became the Regional Creative Director for South and South East Asia. He was also one of the juries in the reality singing competition show, Dhoom Macha De which was aired on NDTV Imagine in 2007. He was married to Aparna, an advertising professional with whom she met at O&M Delhi and her daughter’s name is Aishaanya.

Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in Allahabad, India. Bachchan's father was a prestigious Hindi poet Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh socialite. Being his parents’ first born, he has a junior male sibling resembling to his name Ajitabh. Bachchan went to Sherwood College before enlisting in Delhi University to complete his B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree. He became a cargo dealer in Calcutta after completing his graduation. Amitabh Bachchan married to Jaya Bhaduri and has one son named Abhishek and one daughter named Shweta. Bachchan's father passed on in 2003 and his mother in 2007.

In 1969, Bachchan made his film debut in Saat Hindustani a film administered by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas which won him the National Film Award for Best Newcomer.
