The Mirchi Music Award is an annual award show that is organized to honor the Bollywood, Tollywood, and Bengali film music industries of India. There are 17 different categories of awards presented in the Mirchi music award show, which include song of the year, album of the year, male vocalist of the year, sound engineer of the year, song mixing, etc. The first Mirchi Music Award aired in 2009 on Sony TV and continued airing till 2011, then it started airing on Colours TV in 2012 and aired till 2014, then it changed to Zee TV in 2015 and aired on Zee TV till 2020, then again it changed back to Colours TV in 2021.
