This is the animated series of a character named Sid; the full name is Jim Henson’s Sid the Science Kid. This show was aired on PBS Kids, and the first episode was aired in 1st March 2008, and the last one on 25th March 2013. Each episode was of half an hour and full of knowledge for the kids. The lead of the show, Sid, is a curious child who questions every fact about science, and everyday life in a simple way in which the kids can understand, and learn.
He also tells the solutions, and gives ample knowledge to the children watching the show. His classmates, Gabriela, May, and Gerald, his family including his mother (Alice), his father (mort), his grandmother (Rose), and his baby brother (Zeke) are also the part of the quests he follows. This show follows the learning standards which include preschool pathways, and science, preschool science curriculum, and cognitive learning. Each week’s episode had some special plot, and the episodes were aired in continuation so that the audience would get glued to the show.
