Tiyash Sen

Tiyash Sen was born on 25^th April 1993 and is a director, producer, and cinematographer working in motion pictures and the film industry. He has filmed hundreds of television commercials and many feature films and web shows. Sen is a multilingual fluent in four languages, namely English, Hindi, Bengali, and Czech. After completing his graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata in 2014, Sen went to the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague to build a solid professional base. He completed his Masters's in Fine Arts specializing in cinematography and Film and Video production. His extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of the camera helps him create beautiful images out of the script and gives an extra edge to his sense of film direction. He is skilled in camera operations, cinematography, film production, film direction and Adobe Photoshop.

In 2013, Sen worked as an editor and director for a company named Brandmovers, wherein he handled the film production of MTS DVC, a Durga Puja campaign in Kolkata. He then shifted to working for LaceUp, a Czech company in Prague in 2014-2015 as a director, editor, and cinematographer. While working there, he handled the film productions of two separate digital video commercials. Sen also took up a freelance project for Uber named #WeAreOne: Uber Kolkata Turns One. He also worked as a food stylist in commercials like Shalimar's Chef Spices Range and Kolis Spices.

Sen is the founder of Eyelevel Cinema Pvt. Ltd., a film production house that came into existence on 8^th May 2012. Over the period, the company has produced several national and international commercials, motion pictures, and radio and television shows. Some of the television commercials produced by the company include are Majuli Mist Roasted Tea, BC Jain Jewellers, Solv-B2B platform, Biba Women's Day, Jaipur Emporium Jewellers, Berger’s EP Tools, Lexus Car Launch Teaser, and Spykar- Fast Meets Festive. Sen is best known for his cinematography in the 2021 Indian Bengali-language sci-fi thriller film ‘Bony’.
