“Naagleela” is a supernatural fictional fantasy serial telecasted on Colors Bangla in 2016. It is a fictional tale of two kingdoms who eventually find war against each other because of their different faith. One kingdom idolizes Ma Manasa while the other worships Lord Shiva. Princess Leelavati of one of the kingdoms has been blessed since birth to turn herself into a venomous snake whenever she saw fit and is at peace with her powers. She is portrayed as a cunning, wise, and lion-hearted woman in love with prince Ishaan. Ishaan falls in love with Ganga, a fellow devotee of Lord Shiva.
Ganga is portrayed as a kind-hearted, innocent soul who puts her faith entirely in the hands of the Lord and is a simple girl who enjoys every moment of her life. When the three of them enter a love triangle amid a war between the two kingdoms, chaos ensues along with the general envy and jealousy of the Naagin. Who manages to capture the prince’s heart and the mystery behind Leelavati’s powers and history is what constitutes the rest of the serial.
