“Kurukshetra” is a political drama broadcasted by Aakash Aath and can be seen on weekdays from 9:30 pm. The serial focuses on a politician named Sudip who has anger issues and is the living definition of corruption. Sudip is a very complex character who definitely loves his son more than anything in the world but his behavior towards his family is unacceptable. He cheats on his wife and has no respect for his parents and other relatives. He suffers from constant paranoia and thinks everyone is there to spoil his plans.
His wife, on the other hand, is portrayed as a strong and determined woman who constantly puts up with the abuse he shows towards her and even stands up against him. She wants a better life for her son and this creates a major rift between her husband and herself. The constant need for power leads to the formation of a warzone in the family and the outer world. In other words, this can only be described as the ground of Kurukshetra. What happens when the political issues merge with the family matters and whether if Sudip changes for the better or not is portrayed in the rest of the episodes.
