Beauty Parlour is a Bengali TV serial. It aired on the Zee Bangla channel. It comes under the genres of comedy and drama. The series starts with a trio- Deepa, Aparna, and Sarita. Sarita is a college girl who lives in a girls' hostel in Kolkata. Deepa is a married woman in her 30’s. She has a loving husband but a nosy and bossy mother-in-law. Aparna is a lady in her 40’s who is unmarried. The trio has nothing in common except a determination to do something big. The trio decides to open a beauty parlor jointly. For that, they need a place to rent. They buy a house from a shady agency. Upon reaching there, they realize they have been scammed. The house originally belonged to a moneyed man, Kankadia.

Kankadia instantly takes a liking to Sarita. The girls go on a roller coaster ride to obtain a shop for their business. Their adventures are filled with humorous antics and ridiculous situations. They ask Kankadia for help, but he has other plans in his mind. They are not afraid to fight for their rights or trick people to get their work done. Sarita is the most pessimistic and free-spirited among all. She has big dreams but believes in figuring life out while living it. Deepa is a fearful woman, while Aparna is a risktaker who thinks practically. Sarita motivates her partners to have a positive outlook on life. The series takes the audience through a tough journey of the girls to achieve their dreams. In each episode, they are challenged with a new obstacle to their dreams. However, the girls successfully overcome them by hook or crook through their teamwork.
