Oorarinda Ragasiyam is produced by Krishnaswamy associates (P) Ltd. The show is based on the award-winning short stories published in ANANDA VIKATAN by various Tamil authors. The first 16 episodes of this serial have won an award for being the best TV Serial, and then it continued with 34 more episodes. The show covered a wide range, from family drama to social satire; from light-hearted comedy to serious issues; fantasy to abject realism; portraying one chosen hue of a contemporary social scene in each episode - a bouquet of fragrance compelling the audiences’ attention each week to come back to fresh air, every single time.
