Change Aayega Hum Laayenge is a new television series brought forth by the Indian channelBindass. This show conceptualised the addressing of various phenomenon and issues which indirectly or directly has an effect and impact on the country’s youth. The first issue that got highlighted through the program was Moral Policing. As we all know, the Indian culture is changing dynamically, and the outlook of the youth of the country is also improving as the days go on. What is the right thing to be done at an instance is completely a particular person’s perspective?

The youth of the country thinks that a person’s action out of conviction is morally right. As the protecting culture moves forward in Indian society, the discussion leads to the focus of the weak-kneed groups present in our country who take violent steps in the lure of protecting deeply repressed and vile Indian traditions. This show addresses these points with a real-time experiment through smart satire. This in turn will portray the youth’s opinion on the matter, and the reaction will follow a hard-hitting message for the interest groups. The act revolves around a guy named Suraj. He is a young boy who feels he is responsible for the nation’s future. And so, he always tries to work for the better of the country and our society.

In the course of action, he joins a moral policing squad which is led by Mr. Vijay Lante. In the initial days, he is quite delighted and excited to be a part of this brigade, as he thinks he is working for the uplifting of the society. As time goes on, Suraj comes to realise how wrong his perspective of was on enforcing a certain set of principles that only a group of people think to be right. He understands the value of our nations and society, which is not to be dictated by someone but live under one name and one democracy.

At the end of the show, the social experiment is conducted in a restaurant. The plot is set in the manner that a couple is on a date at the restaurant when suddenly some moral policing men barge in and begin to harass them. The reaction of the other people in the restaurant is what this experiment intended to gain. The question was, will the other people in the restaurant stand up and defend the couple, or choose to stay out and not intervene.
